Brock Purdy leads 49ers to blowout win over Cardinals

Brock Purdy returned from a six-week toe injury to throw three touchdowns, powering the San Francisco 49ers to a 41-22 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. The quarterback completed 19 of 26 passes for 200 yards with no interceptions, earning praise from teammates and coaches. Purdy's performance helped the 49ers improve to 7-4.

Following a frustrating six-week absence due to a toe injury, 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy made a strong comeback in the team's 41-22 win over the Cardinals. On the second drive, Purdy checked the play at the line and connected with George Kittle for a 30-yard touchdown down the right sideline.

"He was vintage Brock," running back Christian McCaffrey said, via ESPN. "And that's a huge compliment. He was poised, made some great plays, made some huge third-down throws, kept us in the game, was smart the whole game. It's really hard to come back in the middle of the year... But to be out that long and to come in and do what he did today is extremely impressive."

Purdy finished 19-of-26 for 200 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions, achieving a 133.5 passer rating. This marked his ninth career game with three-plus passing touchdowns and no picks, and his 11th time with at least a 130.0 rating in his first four seasons.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan expressed confidence in Purdy over backup Mac Jones, who had started in his absence. "You just have to look at his numbers," Shanahan said. "Not many people have done it better than him. He's been as efficient as anyone. He's made as many big plays as anyone."

"Brock's presence in the huddle is just so elite," Kittle added. "He plays the game with this joy that's so infectious, and it's just so much fun to play football with him... He was definitely feeling it. I think he's got the confidence; he's got his swagger."

The win continues a pattern for the 49ers, who have alternated victories and losses over the past eight weeks after starting the season 3-0. San Francisco now faces the 6-5 Panthers in Week 12 on Monday Night Football.
