Carbiotix declared bankrupt

Biotech company Carbiotix in Lund has been declared bankrupt. The firm was delisted from Spotlight Stock Market at the end of last year.

Patrik Kalman, bankruptcy administrator at law firm Trägårdh, held discussions with company management. He sees no conditions for continuing operations. The bankruptcy involves pure liquidation. Assets will be sold at auction shortly. Carbiotix was founded in 2014 by Kristofer Cook. The company developed technology for prebiotic ingredients from plant-based residual streams, mainly for the food industry.
