A Datafolha poll released on Saturday (16) shows that 39% of Brazilians rate Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva's government as bad or terrible. Another 30% consider the administration good or excellent and 29% classify it as regular. The figures remain stable compared with the April survey.

The survey was conducted on May 12 and 13 with 2,004 in-person respondents across the country. The margin of error is two percentage points.

Disapproval has exceeded approval since February 2025. In the current poll, 45% approve of the president's work and 51% disapprove.

In addition, 59% of respondents say Lula has done less than expected in his third term. Another 47% believe the government has accumulated more defeats than victories.
