The Bay Cove Pool area at Disney's Bay Lake Tower, closed since late January as part of the ongoing Contemporary Resort refurbishment, has reopened ahead of its early May schedule. Guests can now enjoy the refreshed main pool, Cove Bar, water play area, and whirlpool spa.
Following the refurbishment extension announced in March, which pushed work through 2027 including phases at the main tower, Skyway Bridge, and Bay Lake Tower exteriors, the Bay Cove Pool completed maintenance earlier than expected. Standard updates like resurfacing and system refreshes were performed without altering theming or layout. The area now operates daily from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., restoring a quieter family-friendly option distinct from the busier main Bay Lake Pool. This enhances convenience for Bay Lake Tower and Contemporary Resort guests, complementing other amenities like fitness centers, sports courts, pickleball, and yoga, during Walt Disney World's ongoing updates.
