Disney has announced the return and expansion of its H2O Glow After Hours event at Typhoon Lagoon water park. The event spans 13 dates: June 2, 13, 19, 27; July 3, 7, 17, 24, 31; August 9, 22, 29; and September 5. Guests can enter as early as 6:00 p.m. for the official 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. party, which includes music, glowing décor, and themed float tubes with characters like Stitch and Sully. Guests staying at select Disney Resort Collection hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, and Shades of Green can purchase tickets starting April 21, with general public sales beginning April 24. Adult tickets start at $85 plus tax, with a $20 discount for children ages 3 to 9. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members receive 20% off, along with discounts for Water Park Seasonal Passholders. The event features rare character appearances, including Powerline Max from A Goofy Movie, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Chip ‘n’ Dale as Rescue Rangers, Scrooge McDuck, and Launchpad McQuack. Popular attractions like Castaway Creek and Humunga Kowabunga will operate with reduced wait times, and complimentary snacks, including Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars, will be available. This revival comes amid fan concerns over rising vacation costs for 2027 and limited access to some attractions, such as Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Disneyland. Disney positions the event as a value-packed alternative with lower crowds and added perks.
