Dua Lipa made a surprise appearance during Tame Impala's concert at London's O2 Arena on Thursday night. She joined Kevin Parker to perform two songs for the crowd.
The pop star walked onstage midway through the 2025 track “After Thought” without any introduction. She immediately joined in on the chorus before the pair moved into her 2024 hit “Houdini.” Parker introduced her as his “good friend” and said, “Let’s play a song that we made together!” Parker produced most of Lipa’s album Radical Optimism, including work on “Houdini.” The two have performed together before, including at Glastonbury Festival in 2024 and on Lipa’s 2025 tour stop in Melbourne. In a 2024 Rolling Stone interview, Parker described Lipa’s editing style during recording, while Lipa noted her nervousness working with him as a fan.
