Duran Duran is set to release remastered versions of two albums from the 1990s. The Wedding Album from 1993 and Thank You from 1995 will be available on vinyl and CD for the first time since their originals. Preorders are open now ahead of the April 10 launch.
Duran Duran continues its series of reissues following the rerelease of its first five albums. The band has announced newly remastered editions of its 1993 self-titled album, commonly known as The Wedding Album due to its cover art, and the 1995 covers album Thank You. These will be released on April 10 in formats including two-LP vinyl and CD.
This marks the first vinyl reavailability for both albums since their initial 1990s pressings. The Wedding Album edition includes a 12-inch art card, while Thank You comes with a fold-out poster. Both are available for preorder immediately.
The 1993 album was Duran Duran's second self-titled release, following its 1981 debut. It reached number 7 on the Billboard Albums chart and included the hits "Ordinary World" and "Come Undone."
Thank You peaked at number 19 on the Billboard chart. The album features covers, notably the band's version of Grandmaster Melle Mel's "White Lines (Don't Don't Do It)," which has remained in their live performances for years.
Alongside the reissues, Duran Duran has upcoming tour dates. The band will perform at the BeachLife Festival in Redondo Beach, California, on May 1, followed by a residency at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas from May 2 to 9. Additional shows are scheduled in Europe during June and July. A full list of performances is available at DuranDuran.com.
