Emotional Whirlwind, a gentle spinner attraction inspired by the emotions in Pixar's Inside Out film, shut down in February for refurbishment. According to updates from the Disney Food Blog, it is scheduled to resume operations on May 31. The ride provides a leisurely tour through Riley's mind headquarters, appealing especially to young children and fans of the movie characters. It is described as fun but not essential for all visitors to Disney California Adventure. Pixar Pier will see further activity with Toy Story Midway Mania reopening on April 24. Over at Disneyland Park, the Jungle Cruise attraction, which closed on February 17, will also reopen the same day. These returns signal a busier season ahead at the resort. Several other attractions remain closed without announced dates, including Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin, the Disneyland Monorail, and Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters. Additionally, Silly Symphony Swings is set to close on April 27.
