In a press conference, Minister Camilo Santana announced a study for applying Enem in Mercosul countries from 2026.

The National High School Exam (Enem) 2025 continued on Sunday, November 16, with tests in nature sciences and mathematics, totaling 90 questions linked to everyday situations. According to preliminary Inep data, abstention was 30%, above the 27% on the first day, November 9. Of the 4.8 million enrollees, Education Minister Camilo Santana noted the exam proceeded without major incidents, with only isolated power issues allowing reapplication.

Question themes included the US desert lizard linked to the Ozempic hormone, climate change and CO₂ removal, vaccine production, hormone disposal in soil, ocean oil pollution, and physical phenomena in Turma da Mônica comics. In mathematics, topics covered GNV versus gasoline yield, proportions in digital games, Usain Bolt's speed, water savings, and practical contexts in statistics and trigonometry.

In a press conference alongside Inep president Manuel Palácios, Camilo Santana announced the ministry is studying Enem application in Buenos Aires (Argentina), Montevideo (Uruguay), and Asunción (Paraguay) from 2026, in Portuguese. The study will assess feasibility, costs, and logistics, with a decision expected in early 2026 to ease Mercosul students' access to Brazilian universities like UNILA in Paraná.

The Enem was held in 1,804 municipalities. In Belém, Ananindeua, and Marituba (PA), tests are on November 30 and December 7 due to COP30. In Rio Bonito do Iguaçu (PR), reapplication in December due to tornado damage. Official gabarito releases November 20, results early 2026.
