Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman criticized fellow Democrats for hypocrisy on foreign policy during a podcast interview this week. He accused the party of prioritizing criticism of Israel over concerns about Iran.
Fetterman spoke with libertarian journalist Nick Gillespie on Wednesday. He defended the Trump administration's actions against Iran and said he trusts its assessments more than those from Tehran, Beijing or Moscow. The senator warned that Democrats risk becoming the party of Trump Derangement Syndrome and forgetting shared American interests.
