Nintendo revealed the release date and pricing for Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave during a Nintendo Direct on June 9. The tactical RPG will launch exclusively on Switch 2 on September 17, 2026. Its physical edition will cost $80, while the digital version is priced at $70.
The game features four protagonists—Cai, Theodora, Dietrich, and Leda—who compete in the Heroic Games tournament for a wish from the gods. Players guide one chosen hero through battles and downtime activities such as recruiting allies and exploring. It marks the first new entry in the series since Fire Emblem: Engage in 2023. Nintendo also confirmed a physical edition with bonus items arriving the same day as the standard release. This pricing follows Nintendo’s variable pricing approach for Switch 2 titles. Other recent announcements include Star Fox at $60 physical and Yoshi and the Mysterious Book at $70 physical.
