Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows have advised AEW to book Sheamus without delay following his departure from WWE. The pair shared their views during an appearance on TMZ Inside the Ring.
Sheamus left WWE on June 5 after nearly two decades with the company. His contract expiration means he faces no non-compete restrictions, unlike members of The New Day.
Anderson stated that if he were booking for AEW he would sign Sheamus immediately because the Irish wrestler hits hard in matches. Gallows added that Sheamus still has plenty left in the tank and that fans have not seen the last of him.
The former WWE stars also discussed a potential debut angle involving MJF. Gallows said a Brogue Kick from Sheamus would generate a huge reaction from audiences.
Anderson emphasized the value of experienced performers in the industry, noting that veterans help maintain interest alongside younger talent.
