Renaissance candidate for the 2027 presidential election Gabriel Attal announced on Thursday a major rally in Lyon on October 10. He promised a show of strength during a video conference with supporters.
The appointment is set for autumn. Gabriel Attal stated that this gathering would be important. Other rallies are planned afterwards in different regions.
It is the first major rentrée rally announced in his political space. Similar meetings took place in Paris at the end of May by Attal and in early July by Édouard Philippe.
Attal seeks to impose himself against Philippe, who maintains a lead in polls. The rally aims to strengthen his position ahead of the Élysée vote.
