Google expands Find the Look to Pixel phones in March update

Google is rolling out the Find the Look feature, part of its Circle to Search tool, to Pixel 10 series devices through the March Pixel Drop. Originally debuted on Samsung Galaxy S26 phones, the AI-powered visual search now identifies entire outfits for shopping. The update also includes broader enhancements for Android devices.

The March Pixel Drop, announced on March 3, 2026, brings several AI-driven updates to Google's Pixel lineup and the wider Android ecosystem. A key addition is the expansion of the Find the Look feature within Circle to Search to Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, Pixel 10 Pro Fold, and Pixel 10a devices via a software update.

Circle to Search first appeared on Galaxy S24 phones and later integrated with Google Lens for other Android devices. It allows users to circle items on their screen for instant results, such as object identification or text translation. The Find the Look upgrade enables recognition of multiple items, like an entire outfit from a photo or screenshot, and surfaces shopping options. Users can also virtually try on items to see how they look.

During testing at Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco, the feature accurately described an outfit as "a vibrant blue structured blazer, white top, dark fitted leggings and classic black leather boots." It linked to the exact blazer and similar options for leggings and boots from various retailers, though it missed the under-blazer shirt. Samsung notes fashion and shopping as the most popular use cases.

The Pixel Drop also improves Circle to Search for easier virtual try-ons and shopping from videos or social media. Other features include Find Hub for real-time location sharing in Google Messages and lost luggage tracking with 10 airline partners, requiring compatible tags. Pixel users gain AI-generated custom home screen icons in six styles and Magic Cue restaurant recommendations, which debuted on Pixel 10.

On Pixel watches, updates add alerts for lost phones, Express Pay access, earthquake safety notifications, and expanded Satellite SOS to Europe, Canada, Hawaii, and Alaska. These enhancements aim to streamline daily tasks without leaving apps.
