The match at Estadio CAP ignited early. Rafael Caroca headed in at the far post for Huachipato's 1-0 in the 13th minute. Stefan Pino equalized with a volley and Julián Brea, confirmed by VAR, made it 1-2 for Cobresal in the 56th.
Pino extended the lead to 1-3 in the 69th with a shot deflected by a defender. Mario Briceño pulled one back in the 77th and Lionel Altamirano completed the 3-3 in the closing minutes.
