The Recording Industry Association of Japan has awarded platinum certifications for streaming to ILLIT and LE SSERAFIM. Both groups surpassed 100 million streams in Japan with their respective tracks.
The Recording Industry Association of Japan announced its latest certifications this month. ILLIT’s 2025 Japanese digital single “Almond Chocolate” and LE SSERAFIM’s 2024 Korean hit “CRAZY” each reached platinum status after exceeding 100 million streams.
The RIAJ introduced its streaming certification system in 2020. Under the rules, songs qualify for silver at 30 million streams, gold at 50 million streams, and platinum at 100 million streams.
The announcements add to the groups’ official recognitions in the Japanese market.
