INDIA bloc demands Education Minister resignation after meeting

Opposition parties in the INDIA bloc met in New Delhi on June 8, 2026, and agreed to write to the Chief Justice of India about electoral concerns while demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Twenty-three parties aligned under the INDIA bloc gathered in the national capital. They resolved to flag issues of special intensive revision and alleged vote manipulation in a letter to the Chief Justice. The group also called for an all-party meeting to address economic distress and price rise.
