The 52-year-old Stand By Me star shared the revelation alongside mom Linda O'Connell, who explained the name honors his grandfather Jeremiah and a favorite cousin named Jerry DeScipio. Jerry quickly added that he has always felt more like a Jerry than a Michael, joking he doesn't look like one either.
