Katy Perry voiced her wish that her five-year-old daughter grow into a better version of herself. The comments came during a Tribeca Festival event and an interview with People magazine.
Katy Perry, 41, said she aims to model strength and authenticity for Daisy, her daughter with Orlando Bloom. She told People magazine it is important for mothers to be their most supported and authentic selves.
At the Tribeca Festival premiere of her concert film Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour — Live from Paris, Perry added that parents can only hope children become better versions of themselves. She described Daisy as already confident enough to share her opinions directly.
Perry also spoke about her relationship with former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau. She called him the love of her life and said the relationship provides needed grounding.
