Local author Courtney Davis to release third book Tuesday

North Idaho author Courtney Davis is set to release the third installment in her 'The Chaotic Conception' series on Tuesday. The new book, 'Having the Demon’s Baby,' offers a paranormal twist on fake-dating workplace romance tropes. Fans of 'Jane the Virgin' and 'Knocked Up' may appreciate its blend of humor and supernatural elements.

Courtney Davis, a resident of North Idaho, will release 'Having the Demon’s Baby' on Tuesday through 5 Prince Publishing. The story centers on a human woman and her demon boss, drawn together by an artificial insemination mixup in a paranormal rom-com format. Davis, who lives with her husband and children, draws inspiration from classic rom-coms while exploring human-inhuman interactions in the modern world. She teaches, reads, writes, and enjoys creating creatures with fresh spins, aiming to provide joy and escape through her work. Davis has scheduled book signings for May 17 at the Meet Cute Market in It’s a Love Story bookstore at 8927 N. Hess St., Hayden, and July 11 at the author fair at Kindred and Co., 851 E. Fourth Ave., Post Falls. More details are available at authorcourtneydavis.com.
