Lovebites signs with Napalm Records for new album Outstanding Power

The Japanese power metal band Lovebites has signed a global deal with Napalm Records, excluding Asia, and released the single 'The Castaway' from their fifth studio album. The album, titled Outstanding Power, is available digitally now with physical copies set for May 8, 2026. This partnership builds on the band's growing international presence since forming in 2016.

Lovebites, an all-female Japanese power metal band formed in 2016, announced a new worldwide partnership with Napalm Records on February 18, 2026, excluding Asia. The signing coincides with the release of their single 'The Castaway,' accompanied by a music video, which serves as the lead track from their upcoming fifth studio album, Outstanding Power.

The band expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration in a statement: 'We are very excited to announce that we have signed a worldwide deal with Napalm Records, excluding Asia. Their roster is filled with metal bands ranging from rising stars to globally successful acts, and even legendary icons respected by all. We are proud to become part of this illustrious history. Together with Napalm Records, whose passion for heavy metal matches our own, we will ensure the success of our upcoming album, Outstanding Power. Stay tuned!'

Outstanding Power draws on themes of resilience, with the band describing its creation: 'Unlike the solid ground of land, the sea never offers stability. Yet a ship pushes forward across its surface, never yielding to the crashing waves, raging storms, or roaring thunder. It was with this sense of overwhelming power that we created a truly one-of-a-kind album — something only we could bring into the world. We hope metalheads everywhere will draw strength from the songs contained in Outstanding Power, and we look forward to setting sail together aboard the ship called LOVEBITES!'

The album features a mix of technical precision and variety, including tracks like 'Silence The Void,' 'Forbidden Thirst,' 'Blazing Halo,' and the power ballad 'Eternally.' The full track listing is: 'The Castaway,' 'Silence The Void,' 'Forbidden Thirst,' 'Blazing Halo,' 'Dream Of King,' 'Phoenix Rises Again,' 'Out Of Control,' 'Wheels On Fire,' 'The Eve Of Change,' 'Reaper’s Lullaby,' 'Eternally,' and 'One Will Remain.'

This release follows Lovebites' steady rise, marked by major festival appearances and industry recognition. The band is scheduled for a milestone hometown performance at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo in March 2026.
