Matthew Perry's assistant sentenced over ketamine injection

Kenneth Iwamasa, the longtime personal assistant to actor Matthew Perry, has been sentenced to more than three years in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy in the star's death.

Matthew Perry, the 54-year-old star of the television show Friends, drowned in his hot tub in 2023 while under the effects of ketamine. Iwamasa gave Perry the fatal injection and was the fifth and final person sentenced for a role in the death.
