MGI All Stars winner Vanessa Pulgarin to visit Philippines

A week after winning the first MGI All Stars competition, Vanessa Pulgarin is heading to the Philippines for her first official overseas trip.

Pulgarin is set to arrive in Manila on June 9 and remain in the country until June 11, flying from Bangkok, Thailand. She bested 55 other contenders from 38 countries in the competition held at the MGI Hall in Bangkok on May 30. The event was organized by the Miss Grand International Organization of Nawat Itsaragrisil and is open to international pageant veterans aged 20 to 40, including mothers and transgender women. Five candidates from the Philippines participated, including Gazini Ganados who finished in the Top 5. MGI All Stars announced the visit on social media on May 30 and also opened applications for its second season, where Pulgarin will return to defend her title.
