Miu Miu revives 1999 Bubble Sneaker with updated sole

Miu Miu has reintroduced its Bubble Sneaker, first released in 1999, featuring a redesigned sole that is lighter and more sculptural. The shoe appeared on the Fall/Winter 2026 runway paired with baby-doll dresses and aviator hats.

The revived model maintains the brand’s signature retro-modern style while aligning with current trends that balance function and luxury. It features a spiky sole that supports the label’s playful approach to design.

The base version is priced at $1,170, while an embroidered edition costs $2,250. These prices reflect the high entry point typical for Miu Miu and Prada products.

The sneaker joins other recent Miu Miu footwear updates, including collaborations with Vans and New Balance that apply similar archival treatments to established silhouettes.
