Neiva's city hall invites residents and tourists to join Holy Week activities aimed at preserving cultural traditions and boosting religious tourism. The program, running from March 29 to April 5, turns the city into a venue for faith, reflection, and sacred art.

The Banda Sinfónica Metropolitana de Neiva, featuring 45 musicians, will perform sacred music concerts and holy retreats in temples across various neighborhoods. These events are free to attend.

"We wanted to organize a family agenda, with music from the Neiva Metropolitan Band, which has been accompanying us since last year with its 45 musicians on stage, the religious acts we will attend, and on Tuesday, March 31 at 7:30 p.m., the Walk of Light will take place, starting at the Convention Center along Carrera 4 to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception for the blessing, and concluding along Carrera 5 back to the Convention Center," stated Tania Peñafiel, Neiva's Culture Secretary.

City officials stress maintaining order and respect in sacred venues and public streets during these displays of faith and local culture.
