New Order has announced a new remastered collection titled ‘The Best & The Rest Of’ that includes previously unreleased remixes. The set will be released via Warner Music on July 17 and is now available for pre-order. It compiles material from the band’s 1994 and 1995 compilation albums.
The collection features remastered audio from both ‘The Best Of New Order’ and its companion remix album ‘The Rest Of New Order’. Several tracks receive new mixes by artists including SubSub, Richie Hawtin and Joe T. Vannelli. Both albums will also appear as separate vinyl editions with remastered audio cut at Abbey Road. ‘The Rest Of New Order’ is additionally offered in a new 3LP format that gathers all twelve tracks for the first time.
