No Doubt sets Sphere residency for May 2026 in Las Vegas

Gwen Stefani shared exciting details about No Doubt's upcoming residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The reunion shows, starting with 12 dates in May 2026, sold out immediately, leading to six additional performances in June. Stefani described the events as a nostalgic journey back to the band's heyday.

Residency Overview

No Doubt, the iconic pop-rock band formed in 1986, will reunite for a limited residency at the Sphere venue in Las Vegas. The initial run consists of 12 shows scheduled for May 2026, which sold out right away. Due to high demand, organizers added six more dates in June 2026, marketed as the final performances of the series.

Stefani, in her interview with Jimmy Fallon, expressed enthusiasm for the project. "We’re excited," she said. "We did Coachella (in 2024) and it was so unbelievably amazing... And I think the Sphere is, like, the future. It’s kind of a cross between a concert and a movie."

Band Background and Recent Activity

Emerging from the ska and punk scene in Anaheim, California, No Doubt achieved massive success in the 1990s with their album Tragic Kingdom, which topped the Billboard 200 for nine weeks. The band secured two Grammy Awards, nine nominations, and eight Hot 100 hits before entering a hiatus in the mid-2010s, allowing Stefani to focus on her solo work.

Since then, the group has performed sparingly, including at Coachella in 2024 and the FireAid benefit concert in January 2025. Stefani envisions the Sphere shows as immersive and reminiscent. "I want people to come and make it feel, like, really nostalgic. Like they’re back in time," she told Fallon. The band is already planning the setlist to capture that essence.

Holiday Tie-In

Before the residency, Stefani is promoting her festive side with a deluxe reissue of her 2017 album You Make It Feel Like Christmas, featuring two new tracks. One, 'Shake the Snow Globe,' ties into the holiday film Oh. What. Fun., where she met stars Michelle Pfeiffer and Denis Leary. She performed the song live on Fallon's show, spreading early Christmas cheer.
