Refous School starts business reorganization process

Refous School, with nearly 70 years of history, has requested a reorganization process from the Superintendency of Societies under Law 1116 to address administrative and financial challenges. The institution assures that this measure will not impact its academic operations and will prioritize transparency and excellence. Rector Santiago Jeangros emphasized the continuity of the educational project.

Refous School informed its educational community, including parents, students, teachers, and staff, of the start of a business reorganization process. This decision followed several months of evaluation by an expert committee, which analyzed options to manage the current situation without disrupting academic activities.

The formal request was submitted to the Superintendency of Societies, with a response expected in the coming weeks. According to rector Santiago Jeangros, the main focus is twofold: fulfilling administrative commitments while upholding the transparency and excellence that have defined the school for nearly seven decades, and ensuring daily operations continue uninterrupted.

The official statement highlights: “While addressing these administrative challenges, the school's operations, academic excellence, and the human talent that makes it possible should always be the priority.” The institution stresses that this action aims to preserve stability and ensure the continuity of the educational project, which has operated normally throughout its 70 years.

Refous thanked the Refousian community for their support and advised directing any concerns through the institution's official channels. Specific challenges are not detailed, but the measure falls under Law 1116, intended for entities facing financial difficulties.
