Sarah Sjöström to compete in Rome after losing world record

Swimming star Sarah Sjöström is taking the next step in her comeback after becoming a mother. She lost the world record in the 50-meter freestyle last weekend.

Sarah Sjöström swims this weekend at the classic Settecolli in Rome. It is her second competition after the successful comeback in April on home ground in Stockholm.

She commented on the record loss with the words: ”It is always more fun to break a record than to have it broken”.

The swimmer aims to continue her comeback after maternity leave through this meet.
