Oscar-winning filmmaker Steven Bognar has joined the labor documentary Who Moves America as an executive producer. The film, directed by Yael Bridge, explores UPS Teamsters' contract negotiations amid challenging working conditions. It recently screened at DOC NYC and heads to festivals including SFFILM on April 27.

Steven Bognar, who won an Academy Award in 2020 for directing American Factory with Julia Reichert, announced his role as executive producer on Who Moves America. The documentary captures the organizing efforts of UPS Teamsters as they push for fair pay, safer conditions, and job security in their contract battle with management. Bognar described the film as a 'rousing and urgent' human drama with practical lessons for workplace organizing, noting a sustained standing ovation at its March premiere at the True/False festival in Columbia, Missouri. 'I’m honored and excited to be coming on board,' Bognar said in a statement. 'The standing ovation at the True/False Film Fest went on and on.'
