Swedes sold drugs from luxury villas in Thailand

Three Swedes are suspected of running large-scale drug sales from a luxury villa complex in Hua Hin, Thailand, supplying narcotics to thousands of Swedish customers online. Police have identified 5,000 buyers in Sweden and claim strong evidence. The operation was uncovered through seized mobile phones.

Three Swedes lived a luxurious life in Thailand while operating a large-scale online drug trade. From a villa complex in Hua Hin, they are suspected of selling narcotics to thousands of Swedish customers via sites like “Mupparna”, generating hundreds of millions in turnover.

Police operations chief Johan Dire states: “We have very convincing evidence against these Swedes.” He adds: “My impression is that they lived very well.”

Through an international operation, police have identified 5,000 buyers in Sweden. The exposure came after seizing mobile phones containing evidence of the activity. The suspects are described as “ordinary Swedes” running drug sites from the luxury complex.

The trade targeted Swedish customers specifically and involved large volumes of drugs. Police emphasize the strength of the evidence in the ongoing investigation.
