Take-Two CEO confirms GTA 6 November release date

Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick has reaffirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI will launch on November 19, 2026. The confirmation came during an ambush interview conducted by a TikTok account.

Zelnick was approached by TikToker The School of Hard Knocks, who asked when GTA 6 is coming out. The executive replied directly with the date of November 19.

The exchange occurred less than a day before the source was published on June 16, 2026. It marks the third announced release window for the title after earlier delays from fall 2025 and May 2026.

Zelnick also discussed Take-Two revenue figures during the interview, citing $6.7 billion for 2025 and a projected figure slightly above $8 billion for the current year. The company publishes the Grand Theft Auto series through its Rockstar Games label.
