Following its CES 2026 unveiling of the flagship X11L SQD-Mini LED series, TCL released the QM8L super quantum dot mini-LED TV with up to 6,000 nits peak brightness and 4,000 local dimming zones. The QM7L is available for preorder starting at $1,200, and the premium RM9L RGB-mini LED TV starts at $8,000. These build on prior models like the QM8K with enhanced color and contrast.
Building on the flagship X11L SQD-Mini LED series unveiled at CES 2026, TCL announced expansions to its 2026 TV lineup, with the QM8L now available immediately. Pricing: 65-inch at $2,500, 75-inch at $3,000, 85-inch at $4,000, and 98-inch at $6,000. Highlights include super quantum dots for 100% BT.2020 color coverage, Halo Control for contrast, CSOT WHVA 2.0 Ultra Panel for viewing angles, an antireflective layer, and Dolby Vision 2 Max via software update. Audio is by Bang & Olufsen, with Google TV and Gemini integration. Peak brightness hits 6,000 nits, a 2,000-nit jump from the prior model, making it one of the brightest TVs available.
QM7L models are up for preorder from $1,200 (55-inch) to $4,000 (98-inch). It features SQD-mini LED with 2,100 dimming zones, 3,000 nits brightness, HVA 2.0 Pro Panel, Dolby Vision IQ, Bang & Olufsen audio, and Google TV.
The high-end RM9L RGB-mini LED TV is available for preorder: $8,000 (85-inch), $10,000 (98-inch), and $30,000 (115-inch). It includes over 3,800 dimming zones, 6,000 nits brightness, advanced Halo Control, antireflective layer, TSR AI Pro Processor, and Dolby Vision 2 support.
TCL is also extending the popular budget QM6K into 2026 with a new 50-inch option.
