Tesla reported delivering 480126 vehicles worldwide in the second quarter of 2026, marking a 25 percent increase from the same period last year. The company produced 451758 vehicles during the quarter and deployed 13.5 gigawatt-hours of energy storage products. The results exceeded Wall Street estimates by a wide margin.

Tesla delivered 467762 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles along with 12364 units of other models, which include the Model S, Model X, Cybertruck, and Semi. Production for the Model 3 and Model Y totaled 442936 units, while other models accounted for 8822 units produced.

The quarter represents Tesla's first year-over-year growth after two years of declines and its strongest second quarter on record. Deliveries surpassed the consensus estimate of 406024 vehicles and came in above even the highest analyst forecasts.

Tesla also reported that Model S and Model X production has ended and these models will no longer appear in future production and delivery reports. The company will release its full second-quarter financial results after the market closes on July 22 2026, followed by a webcast at 530 p.m. Eastern Time.

Energy storage deployments reached 13.5 GWh, up more than 40 percent from the 9.6 GWh recorded in Q2 2025. Tesla noted it will stream its Q2 company update live on X on July 22 at 430 p.m. Central Time.
