Tesla offers kid-sized Cybertruck with electric braking and LED lights

Tesla has introduced a miniature version of its Cybertruck designed for children, featuring drivable capabilities and safety elements. The toy truck mirrors the full-sized model's design and is powered for real movement. It is available exclusively through the US Tesla Shop for $1,500.

Tesla's kid-sized Cybertruck provides a scaled-down replica of the popular electric pickup, complete with functional features for young drivers. The mini vehicle is powered by a 22V lithium-ion battery and a 500W motor, achieving a top speed of 10mph (16kmh). It offers approximately 12 miles of range, far less than the full Cybertruck's up to 350 miles, and recharges without needing a Supercharger due to its smaller battery.

Suitable for children aged six to 12, the toy includes an adjustable seat with space for two kids. It replicates the distinctive angular design of the original, incorporating LED headlights and taillights, electric brakes, rear-wheel drive, and pneumatic rubber tires. An optional mini cover is available for protection when not in use.

This official toy follows the 2019 unveiling and subsequent 2023 deliveries of the full-sized Cybertruck, after which enthusiasts created DIY mini versions from unconventional materials or with playful names like 'Tesler Siber Truck.' Tesla's version eliminates the need for such efforts, priced at $1,500 and limited to the US Tesla Shop.

Tesla also sells other toys, including a $60 wooden set of a Cybertruck and Semi Truck, where the smaller truck can hitch onto the larger one. A spokesperson remarked on its release: “Adults will put this on a shelf, kids will ram it into walls.”
