The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas, collected Rs 27.83 crore in India on its second day, according to box office figures released on January 11, 2026. The earnings broke down to Rs 22.38 crore from Telugu, Rs 5.2 crore from Hindi, Rs 0.15 crore from Tamil, Rs 0.06 crore from Kannada, and Rs 0.04 crore from Malayalam. Following a Day 1 worldwide gross of Rs 112 crore, the film has set the record for the biggest opening in the horror-fantasy genre.
Telugu shows recorded an overall occupancy of 44% on Saturday, with 28.95% in morning shows, 46.99% in the afternoon, 48.82% in the evening, and 51.25% for night shows. However, questions have arisen about the film's quality. A viewer in Texas, @BellamSwathi, posted on X: "I watched The Raja Saab in a large theatre in Texas... There was just 14 people and out of that we were 6... It was disastrous... The movie is disgrace to Telugu industry. Fake CGI... You are taking audience for granted."
Meanwhile, a fire broke out at Ashok Talkies in Rayagada, Odisha, during Prabhas fans' 'Aarti' celebration for the film. @Chd_media shared a video on X, stating: "Fire breaks out at Ashok Talkies, Raygada, Odisha during Prabhas fans’ ‘Aarti’ celebration for The Raja Saab. Aarti plate fell & sparked fire." According to the makers, the total is set to cross Rs 100 crore in India today.
