Trayvon Rudolph signs with Vikings after Steelers tryout

Wide receiver Trayvon Rudolph has signed with the Minnesota Vikings after spending two days trying out for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Vikings announced the move on Thursday morning along with another receiver signing.

The Vikings signed Rudolph and wide receiver Michael Briscoe while waiving Joaquin Davis. Rudolph was one of five veterans who tried out during Pittsburgh’s mandatory minicamp. Undrafted in 2025, Rudolph spent time with the Seattle Seahawks but has not appeared in an NFL game. He played college football at Northern Illinois before transferring to Toledo, where he recorded 39 receptions for 435 yards and two touchdowns in his senior season. The Steelers drafted Kaden Wetjen to handle return duties and have added depth at receiver with DK Metcalf, Michael Pittman Jr., and Germie Bernard. Three other veteran tryout players from Pittsburgh remain unsigned.
