AEW wrestler Will Ospreay has expressed a desire to face Ricochet in the ring again. The two last competed against each other in AEW after signing with the promotion. Their comments came during an appearance on the Talk Is Jericho podcast.
Ospreay and Ricochet marked the 10th anniversary of their 2016 NJPW Best of the Super Juniors match this past May. That bout took place at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, where Ospreay emerged victorious.
During the podcast, Ospreay said he wants to run the rivalry back given their current physical conditions. He added that the two will likely compete again even when they reach age 50.
Ricochet described the original match as part of wrestling history that will remain a conversation piece. He also noted the strong personal connection the pair share outside the ring.
The wrestlers have faced each other in singles matches only twice since joining AEW.
