Update Overview
Version 2.8 continues the story of Rover, who enters the Chronorift Metropolis—formerly Honami City—through a rift discovered via a Sonoro Sphere. Once a bustling commercial hub, the city was devastated by the Lament, trapping its inhabitants, known as the Left Behind, in a repeating time loop. Rover's journey aims to break this cycle, revealing secrets amid overgrown skyscrapers, flooded lowlands, and the central Neon Tower. New main quests include Chapter II Act XII: Stagnant Dawn on Wastelands and Segue Flowing Starlight in the Iris, allowing players to delve into the city's narrative.
New Resonators
The update adds two Resonators: Chisa, a 5-Star Havoc character who wields giant scissors that transform into a chainsaw for precise, timing-based attacks. Her Forte Gauge powers Resonance Skill and Liberation, dealing damage while healing allies. Buling, an Electro Resonator from Huanglong's Mengzhou, uses a Rectifier and talisman combat to immobilize foes via Trigram formations. Her Resonance Liberation summons lightning to strike multiple enemies, enhancing strategic depth in battles.
Exploration and Features
Chisa sets up a safe hub at a café in Honami Crossing, serving as a base for venturing into iridescent-skied ruins with drifting petals. Quality-of-life updates include one-click Echo absorption and an Auto Supplement system for Resonator, Weapon, and Skill upgrades, which auto-sources materials or provides acquisition shortcuts.
