Xbox Game Pass announces new games for late November and December

Microsoft has revealed the latest additions to Xbox Game Pass, bringing a mix of action RPGs, racing games, and superhero brawlers to subscribers starting November 19. Highlights include the day-one release of Marvel Cosmic Invasion on December 1. Several titles will also leave the service on November 30.

The new lineup kicks off on November 19 with Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault (Game Preview) available on PC via Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. November 25 brings Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden to Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S on Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass, plus Kill It With Fire! 2 on Cloud, Console, and PC with Ultimate and Premium.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion, a retro-styled beat 'em up featuring heroes like Wolverine and Spider-Man battling an alien invasion in New York, launches as a day-one title on December 1 for Cloud, Console, Handheld, and PC via Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Developed by Dotemu and Tribute Games, it follows their 2022 hit Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge.

Finally, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage joins on December 2 for Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S with Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass.

Departing Titles

As new games arrive, five titles will exit the library on November 30: Barbie Project Friendship, Lords of the Fallen, Octopath Traveler, Octopath Traveler II, and SteamWorld Build, all available on Cloud, Console, and PC. Subscribers can purchase these at up to a 20% discount before they leave.

Context and Reviews

Eurogamer praised Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden as a 'haunting story of consequence' in its four-star review, noting its poignant take on grief and injustice. Lost Records: Bloom & Rage's first tape also earned four stars for its narrative twists from the Life is Strange team.
