Zamfara begins hiring of 3,050 primary school teachers

The Zamfara State government opened an online application portal to recruit 3,050 additional basic school teachers. The announcement was signed by Maryam Yahaya Shantali, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.

Applicants must be Zamfara State indigenes aged 18 to 35. They need at least NCE, B.Ed. or equivalent qualifications, a TRCN certificate, and NYSC discharge or exemption. They must also accept posting to any part of the state.

Priority will be given to candidates in subjects such as English Language, Mathematics, and Computer Science. A non-refundable fee of N1,000 applies, and only those who pass automated screening will sit the computer-based test.

Applications close on July 16, 2026. Late submissions, false documents, or refusal of rural postings will lead to disqualification.
