Following months of criticism over the Cosmic system in Region Dalarna—including doctors' demands for a failure commission and reports of patient safety risks—the government has tasked E-hälsomyndigheten with a national failure investigation of the journal systems market. Region councilor Elin Norén (S) welcomes the move but calls for reforms to public procurement law.
