State Championships

The Rice girls and Champlain Valley Union boys teams captured the Vermont Alpine Skiing state championships at Burke Mountain. Both held leads after Monday's giant slalom and secured victory in Tuesday's slalom. Rice finished with 59 points, ahead of CVU's 78 and Stowe's 84.
