The feature emphasizes the joy of unplanned road trips, starting with a story from Inmate @Bananapete and his wife. Last September, they took a spontaneous week-long journey from Germany to Scotland on two 2013 Honda CRF250L motorcycles, seeking Highland cows. They encountered daily rain, off-road detours, and sheep blocking roads. @Bananapete noted, "It rained almost every day, but I expect that in Scotland." He described the North Coast 500 as a beautiful route but suggested a more powerful bike for future visits, as not all sections match the excitement of Applecross Pass.
The edition continues with spring-themed submissions from Canada. Inmate @offworlder shared photos of his 2024 KTM 890 RR in Squamish, BC, accompanied by a poem: "Twas the 1st ride of 2026, and as the beast has been sleeping all winter. Now that Spring is springing, the behemoths wake and again wander the Earth." He also featured a pair of CRF450RLs frolicking on BC’s Sunshine Coast amid wet forests.

Inmate @Squid22 showed his 2025 Husqvarna Norden Expedition reflecting a clear sky in Bandon, Oregon. Inmate @flyingturtle posed with his 2023 Triumph Tiger Sport 850 in Cartwright, Labrador, at the end of the Northeast road.
The feature also touched on the Daytona custom bike show, where a contributor enjoyed chrome-glistening exhibits and Rat Fink-inspired designs despite missing speedway tickets.
