Al Kholood took an early lead in the fourth minute through Ramiro Enrique, who controlled a lofted pass before firing home. Al Hilal responded before halftime as Nasser Al Dawsari equalized with a half-volley in the 42nd minute. Theo Hernandez then completed the turnaround with a low drive in first-half stoppage time.
