American Bitcoin completes reverse split after reaching 8,000 BTC

American Bitcoin, co-founded by Eric Trump, completed a 1-for-15 reverse stock split to meet Nasdaq listing requirements. The move follows growth in its Bitcoin holdings to 8,000 BTC.

The company announced that its Bitcoin reserves reached 8,000 BTC. This marks an increase from about 7,021 BTC at the end of the first quarter of 2026.

The reverse split took effect after markets closed on July 2. Adjusted trading began on Nasdaq on July 6. American Bitcoin said the action aimed to raise its share price above the exchange's minimum bid requirement.

In its first-quarter filing, the firm reported mining 817 BTC and buying another 803 BTC. It also disclosed $62.1 million in mining revenue alongside an $81.8 million net loss.

Shareholders had approved a split range between 1-for-5 and 1-for-40 in June. The board selected the 1-for-15 ratio following the annual meeting.
