"Yes, it's true that I'm getting divorced; I've been separated since April and we no longer live together, but this news took me by surprise—I learned of my partner's divorce filing broadcast while dining with him and some friends," she recounted during her show La Vale Show Live.
The couple separated on April 1, 2025, per documents filed by Otto Padrón on November 4, 2025, in Miami, citing irreconcilable differences. Padrón, seeking joint custody of their children Angélica Masiel (born 2012) and Daniel Nicolás (born 2014), requested Vale cover legal fees and that changes in residence or travel with the minors be notified. The filing includes a clause to avoid negative comments in front of the children.
Otto Padrón, born in Cuba in 1965 and based in the US since childhood, emigrated with his family and joined the US Army in 1983 as a soldier in the 75th Ranger Regiment. He retired as colonel after 40 years, participating in combat missions and receiving awards like the Bronze Star. In media, he worked as producer and senior vice president at Univision, where he met Vale in 2008 during a New Year's program with Raúl de Molina. Later, he presided over Meruelo Media and now directs Get After It Media and ACTIFY, focused on broadcasting strategies.
Their romance began in 2008, with engagement on Vale's 35th birthday in 2010. They married civilly on February 12, 2011, in Miami and in a symbolic religious ceremony a week later at Colegio de las Vizcaínas in Mexico City, with over 800 guests.
