Anisa Rahma's Bandung home gutted by fire on April 30, 2026

The home of celebrities Anisa Rahma and Anandito Dwi Sepdiawan in Bandung suffered a major fire early Thursday, April 30, 2026. The blaze is believed to have started from a candle used to repel flies, yet 3,500 copies of the Quran in one room remained intact. No lives were lost in the incident.

The fire broke out around 03.00 WIB on April 30, 2026, while all household members were asleep. Thick smoke filled the rooms, sparking panic. The blaze is suspected to have originated from a lit candle in one area of the house, used over several days to repel flies.

Anandito Dwi Sepdiawan, Anisa Rahma's husband, described his attempt to extinguish the fire. “When the source was sought, witnesses found the fire had already grown large in the dining room,” stated Anandito in a firefighters' report shared on Instagram account @sonibakhtiyar. He doused it with water, but the flames intensified and spread, prompting him to wake family members for evacuation.

The family escaped safely with some valuables, though many items were lost as the fire spread rapidly due to flammable materials. Most of the house sustained severe damage, resulting in significant material losses.

Public attention focused on a room containing about 3,500 copies of the Quran that remained untouched by the fire. Ratu Isyell Nurazara shared images of the intact Qurans via Instagram Story, describing the sight as chilling.
