Venezuelan musician Arca has revealed details of her upcoming album XXXXX. The record is scheduled for release on July 31 via XL Recordings.
The project marks Arca's first full-length album in five years following the Kick series that concluded in 2021. Described in a press release as darker, more aggressive and more experimental, the 16-track album features songs including No End, Willow and Sueño.
A livestream titled Diva.Experimental Transmission is set to air on July 23 at 9:30 p.m. CEST. Directed by Daniel Sannwald, the event will broadcast from seven locations in Barcelona and feature unreleased material from the album.
The stream is supported by the dating app Feeld. Arca stated in a press release, “With Feeld’s support and investment, we’re able to put on a show for you with full glam and budget.”
