Arsenal has released its new Adidas away shirt for the 2026/27 season. The kit revives the Bruised Banana design from 1991 to 1993.
The navy shirt features a geometric pattern with yellow tones and a crew-neck collar accented in red and yellow. It was announced in July and celebrates the stories behind the original shirt.
Defender Riccardo Calafiori said the team is proud to wear something with such history. He added that the players want to create their own legacy while continuing to win.
Declan Rice appears in launch videos taking a call from head coach Mikel Arteta. Ian Wright, who scored prolifically in the Bruised Banana era, is shown mimicking the signing of his first contract.
Replica shirts cost £85, or £90 for long sleeves. Authentic versions start at £120, with youth options from £60 and baby kits at £40. The kit is available from Arsenal’s online shop.
Arsenal faces Manchester City in the Community Shield on August 16 at Wembley Stadium.
